LOVE Face Balm

A wonderful face balm that nourishes the skin, protects against external influences while allowing the skin to breathe. It works both as an anti-aging and anti-acne product as it contains active ingredients that penetrate deep into the skin, while soothing and protecting the skin from free radicals. The balm contains Bakuchiol, Prickly Pear Seed Oil, Argan Oil and Oat Oil.

Bakuchiol is a natural and equivalent alternative to retinol. It has several documented areas of action. It protects the skin from free radicals, stimulates collagen and elastin production, improves skin elasticity, evens out skin tone   and reduces visible lines and age spots. It is used in skin care to combat signs of aging, acne and uneven skin texture – but without the side effects that often accompany synthetic retinol, such as redness, peeling or photosensitivity. Unlike retinoids (vitamin A-based substances), which are known for their instability in light and their irritating effect on the skin, bakuchiol is both photostable and hydrolytically stable. This means that it can be used during the day without the skin becoming sensitive to the sun. Bakuchiol is therefore particularly suitable for sensitive skin and for those who want powerful skin-improving effects without the risk of reactions.

Prickly pear seed oil is rich in several different types of tocopherols and provitamin A, which are powerful antioxidants and help maintain skin elasticity and vitality. But what is truly unique for the skin in this super oil is its composition of phytosterols and flavonoids. These bioactive substances can reduce wrinkles and have a regenerating effect on the skin. Prickly pear oil is particularly valuable as an anti-aging oil as it can delay the oxidation of skin proteins and lipids and counteract free radicals. It is also suitable for the sensitive area around the eyes.

Argan oil contains the full spectrum of saturated, monounsaturated and polyunsaturated fatty acids that protect and strengthen the epidermis. Together with the oil's unique bioactive substances, argan oil provides effective natural skin care.

Oat oil has very soothing and caring properties for sensitive and irritated skin. It soothes and balances the skin and supplies important nutrients, fatty acids, antioxidants and natural phospholipids that protect and strengthen the skin's barrier layer. Oat oil contains ceramides that prevent dry skin & maintain cell structure.
